【摘要】:Thisguideprovidesinspectiontechniquesthatmaybeusedtoexamineelectricalprotectiverubberproductsforirregularities.Themethodshaveapplicationsinmanufacturinglocations,testingfacilities,andinthefieldwheretheproductsareused.ThisguidealsocontainsphotographsthatsupplementthedescriptionsoftermslistedinSection3andinDefinitionsF819.1.1Thepurposeofthisguideistopresentmethodsandtechniquesforthevisualinspectionofelectricalprotectiverubberproducts.Thisguidealsoincludesdescriptionsandphotographsofirregularitiesfoundintheseproducts.Note18212;Itisnotthepurposeofthisguidetoestablishtheacceptancelevelofanyirregularitydescribedherein.Thatshallbeestablishedbythestandardforeachproduct.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.TheSIunitsinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
