【摘要】:ThisspecificationcoversthemanufacturingdatarequiredtoproduceavarietyofstylesandsizesofquickdisconnectcouplingsuptoandincludingNPS6formarineusethatensureinterchangeabilityandsafetyofoperation.Ingeneral,quickdisconnectcouplingsarehoseandpipeendfittingsthatpermitquickmechanicalattachmentbymeansotherthanboltedorthreadedfittings.Themethodofattachmentisamalecouplinghalf(adapter)thatfitsintoafemalecouplinghalf(coupler)ofthesamesize.Byclosingattachedcamhandles,thecouplinghalvesseal,permittingfluidstobetransportedunderpressurethroughthequickdisconnectcoupling.Thevaluesstatedinthisspecificationareininch-poundunitswithSIunitsgiveninparentheses.Thevaluesofeachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents.Therefore,eachsystemshouldbeconsideredseparately.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethoddescribedinthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
