【摘要】:Theshearandbendingfatiguetestsareusedtodeterminetheeffectofvariationsinmaterial,geometry,surfacecondition,stress,andsoforth,onthefatigueresistanceofcoatedmetallicmaterialssubjectedtodirectstressforupto107cycles.Thesetestsmaybeusedasarelativeguidetotheselectionofcoatedmaterialsforserviceunderconditionofrepeatedstress.Inorderthatsuchbasicfatiguedatabecomparable,reproducible,andcanbecorrelatedamonglaboratories,itisessentialthatuniformfatiguepracticesbeestablished.Theresultsofthefatiguetestmaybeusedforbasicmaterialpropertydesign.Actualcomponentsshouldnotbetestedusingthesetestmethods.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheprocedurefordeterminingtheshearandbendingfatigueperformanceofcalciumphosphatecoatingsandofporousandnonporousmetalliccoatingsandfordeterminingthebendingfatigueperformanceofmetalliccoatingsoversprayedwithcalciumphosphate.Thistestmethodhasbeenestablishedbasedonplasma-sprayedtitaniumandplasma-sprayedhydroxylapatitecoatings.Theefficacyofthistestmethodforothercoatingshasnotbeenestablished.Intheshearfatiguemode,thistestmethodevaluatestheadhesiveandcohesivepropertiesofthecoatingonametallicsubstrate.Inthebendingfatiguemode,thistestmethodevaluatesboththeadhesionofthecoatingaswellastheeffectsthatthecoatingmayhaveonthesubstratematerial.Thesemethodsarelimitedtotestinginairatambienttemperature.Thesetestmethodsarenotintendedforapplicationinfatiguetestsofcomponentsordevices;however,thetestmethodwhichmostcloselyreplicatestheactualloadingconfigurationispreferred.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
