【摘要】:a.ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsfor'Tersil'*typecablesforaircraftwiringofcircuitsinwhichthepotentialbetweenconductors,orbetweenaconductorandmetalbraidortheaircraftstructure,doesnotexceed600volts(r.m.s.)andthefrequencydoesnotexceed1600c/sandwhereanycombinationofambienttemperatureandconductorcurrentforcontinuousservicedoesnotproduceastabilizedconductortemperatureinexcessof190℃.Thecablesaresuitableforfixedwiringinaircraftattemperaturesdownto-75℃,butarenotsuitableforsevereflexingattemperaturesbelow-55℃.Thecablesdonotsupportcombustionandcomplywiththerequire-mentsofBritishStandard2G.100inrespectoffireresistance.b.Thegenericname'Tersil'isapplicableonlytocablescoveredbythisBritishStandardandcomplyingwithallitsrequirements.c.Thestandardincludesthefollowingrangesofcables:(i)Tersil.Cablewithacopperconductorandcompositeinsulationofsiliconerubber,glassandpolyethyleneterephthalateorothersuitablematerials.(ii)Tersilal.SimilartotheTersilrangebutwithaconductorofaluminiuminsteadofcopper.*Thevariouscombinationsoftheword'Tersil'usedtodistinguishthesecableswereoriginatedbytheRoyalAircraftEstablishmentoftheMinistryofAviation.(iii)Tersilmet.SimilartotheTersilrangebutwiththeadditionofametalbraid.(iv)Tersilmetsheath.SimilartotheTersilmetrangebutwiththeadditionofanexternalsheathofinsulatingmaterials.(v)Dutersil,Tritersil,DutersilalandTritersilal.Two-orthree-corecablesconsistingoftwoorthreeTersilorTersilalcablestwistedtogether.d.Thecablesareclassifiedandidentified,notbycurrentratings,butbyaseriesofnumbersindicativeoftheconductorcross-sectionalarea.ThesenumberscorrespondtothoseusedforequivalentAmericancables.ThemaximumcurrentratingsforTersilcablesarequotedinAppendixA.
